Remote learning provision

Following the government announcement on the 4th January, schools have been directed to move to remote learning, for most pupils, up until the February half-term. During this time, we remain open for the children of Key Workers and for vulnerable children.

During these difficult times we would like to support families the best way that we can. Each day your child’s class teacher will upload work and ideas for you to complete with your child. There will be some activities that your child can complete independently and others where they may need some guidance. As always, our priority is the children and their well-being, if all of the work provided for that day doesn’t fit with your current lifestyle please don’t worry. If you have any queries please contact the school office on admin.beltonceprimary@northlincs.gov.uk

We would love to see any work or activities that the children complete

Please see the links below for various guides and information relating to our remote learning offer.

Weblinks

In addition to DBprimary, we have set up a series of weblinks for each Key Stage. These are presented on a 'Padlet' (digital noticeboard) which can be accessed by clicking on the links below. In the event of pupils needing to self isolate in the future, staff will email pupils tasks to do on specific sites and will ask for an email or DBPrimary entry to share their learning.

If you have any questions about any of the tasks pupils have been set please email your child's teacher or the admin team.

We also have Websites and apps that school have subscribed to.

Pupils have been given login details to the following websites. Many of these can be downloaded as apps on Apple or Android devices.

Learning Agreement

Without knowing how long the school closures may last we have put together some guidelines that you may find helpful in developing positive learning at home. It is important to maintain a balance of funtime, down times, family times, screen time and learning times - not an easy thing to do. A learning agreement may help to create a positive routine.

Please click here for some ideas.
